Jeeperz is our new 2 year old Lab Rescue doggie, from the Labrador Retrievers Rescue of Florida or LRRoF. http://www.labradorrescue.net

As luck would have it, Jeeperz chose us after spending a little over two months with his Foster Parents Tobhe and Bill in Green Cove Springs, FL. Jeeperz or as he was called Jimmy came to us on 12/08/07.  Jeeperz came from the Lab Rescue program after a very sad and tragic life that I will spare you all with. He is a Black Labrador Retriever that was in the Government Drug Sniffing Dog program. He eventually decided that he didn't want to work for the Government after all. Too much paperwork and too long of hours for him. So Tobhe and Bill gave Jimmy/Jeeperz a new Foster Home and such great love and attention that they really saved his life.

When Jimmy/Jeeperz first came to live with us, he soon found my Jeep Wrangler parked in the driveway and like his new daddy, he too fell in love with the Jeep. After giving the Jeep the full once over, he decided that this was his new favorite spot to hangout. So after spending countless time in the Jeep during the first day and a half with us, Laura and I both felt that he should be called, Jeeperz... So Jeeperz it is.

Black Lab + Black Jeep = Great Times...

Laura and I couldn't be happier to have Jeeperz in our life right now and although Romeo can never ever be replaced we are trying to carrying on Romeo's Love and his Love of life... I am sure that Romeo would have loved Jeeperz too...

This funny  series of pictures were taken when we gave Jeeperz a new Red collar. He got so excited it was like a new toy and a new happy time for him. It was so good to see him get so excited about his new collar...
