I began racing offshore powerboats, back in 1988. Fast forward 20 years, I retired from offshore in 2008 but, now as a 2007 World Champion. While yes, the World Championship took a while, over the years I was 2nd place World Champion a couple of time and won my share of races too always driving or throttling for many Teams. Overall, let’s just say, I had a blast! I got to race in some amazing places with some FANTASTIC Teams! Offshore Powerboat Racing is WAY different than racing cars, but it sure was fun, racing on the edge…! We use to call it, trying to control a crash, without crashing. Do miss boat racing? Not really. Been there, got the hat, t-shirt(s), several cool trophy’s and met some fantastic people..!!

So today, I’ll stick with racing cars.
